Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a 4-year full-time B.E./B.Tech. degree with First Class (minimum 60%) in the relevant engineering discipline from an AICTE/UGC-recognized University/Institute. Final-year students expecting results can also apply but must produce certificates during the interview.

Age Limit (as on 30th April 2025)

• Maximum Age: 27 years (UR)

• Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST – 5 years

• OBC (NCL) – 3 years

• PwD – 10 years

• Ex-Servicemen – As per GOI norms

Selection Process Details

The selection process includes two stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT) – 85% weightage

2. Personal Interview – 15% weightage

Candidates must score at least 60% overall and 50% in each stage to qualify. SC/ST candidates are eligible for relaxation in performance standards.

Computer Based Test Details

• Mode: Online (MCQ-based)

• Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes)

• Total Questions: 100

• Marking Scheme: 1 mark per question, 0.25 negative marking for wrong answers

• Languages: English and Hindi

Salary Structure 

Selected candidates will receive a pay scale of ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000 during the training period. Upon successful completion of one year as Trainee, candidates will be absorbed as Officers in the same pay scale.
